I just wanted to say thank you very much for providing the tables and chairs for our wedding at The Oak Barn on 4th November 2017.
Just a quick note to say thank you so much for helping make our son’s wedding such a fantastic occasion. We can’t thank you enough for being pro-active and helpful in just about every regard, making the whole experience with you a pleasure.
We have used South West Event hire for several seasons to provide any extra crockery and cutlery requirements we have for outside catering events and for all our heavy-duty kitchen equipment hire. Ironically it is more cost-effective for us to use this supplier although we are based in Dorset and they always manage to provide the best quote rather than more local suppliers. Their delivery charges are very reasonable and the level of service we have experienced is faultless. The equipment on arrival is always clean and reliable.
During the stress and pressure of organising events in often extreme outdoor circumstances, it is very reassuring to have found such a professional, reliable company. We will definitely be back in touch next season.

The service we had from your company was excellent, we’ve recently taken over a new building and whilst the hall has a seating capacity of about 250 we don’t have that many chairs so we hired in you basic red folding chairs. I have to say that I was expecting complaints from some of our staff as they were using the chairs from 0930 – 1430 with only a short break for lunch but this was not the case.
In addition, the help we received from your staff both on collection and delivery was also excellent. We’re more than capable of loading or unloading the chairs ourselves but it was refreshing to deal with people who were actively helpful rather than just doing the bare minimum.

It was the first time that we had used SW Events Hire and we were certainly very pleased with the service. All the equipment was delivered and collected promptly and efficiently and all items were correct and in good order. In particular, the driver (he was the same person both ways) was very pleasant and helpful, as were the people in your Martock office with whom we had dealings over the phone when setting up and altering our order.
In fact, the only less positive comment would be that we found your website difficult to operate when we tried to amend our order – in fact we just rang your office and amended it that way without any problem and they did inform us that it was a website problem as opposed to us doing something wrong this end.

We used your services for an event. This event was held at ……. and attended by senior Lloyds Banking group members, the deputy Lord Mayor plus a VIP guest list of business ventures in the South West.
As we are a charity, we always have to watch every penny and this venue was offered to us thanks to the generosity of a supportive …… Council councillor.
However, the venue was up a large flight of stairs – a consideration that had had to factor in for all, and also that there were no other facilities that we were able to utilise and so all resources needed had to be brought in.
South West Event Hire was recommended to us from our colleagues at …….. Your website was quick and simple to use. I also spoke to a lovely lady on the phone who was able to advise and recommend suitable items for us. As the planning continued, there were changes that we had to make to our order, and this was simple and easy to manage – even up to the day before. This was great.
On the day of the event, the items all arrived on time, brought by the friendly and very helpful team and the stairs were not an issue! All items were of great quality and condition.
Our event did not finish until much late in the day and so to just have to pack things up as they were and know that you were going to collect them the next day was a godsend.
